Our mission is simple. We want to provide you with a better atmosphere, and less corrupt environment than you are used to with CODHQ.

People are getting banned there left and right for simply speaking their minds. Enough is enough. You now have a new home to call your own.

These are our promises:

1. Your voice will be heard. Our staff will be here for you as much as humanly possible.

2. You will not be banned for speaking your mind. If you have a problem, voice it. We want the feedback. It will take a lot to get banned here. As long as you're not voicing opinions in a way that insults anyone, we'd love to hear them.

3. We will not tolerate the same kind of ignorance that CODHQ shows to flaming (not the joking kind), repeat threads, complaint threads, and cheating/glitch threads (unless designed to inform members of an update or new glitch without instructions on how to use it). Posts like these will be moved and/or deleted if necessary, so that everyone may enjoy these forums. This will not be a glitch information forum, and it certainly won't be a complaint forum. We have incorporated a complaint-specific forum for those types of threads.

4. People who abuse the forums will be dealt with much more swiftly. Our process is as follows: One warning, one temporary ban, and finally a permanent ban. This, as well, is so everyone here can enjoy the forums.

5. If you are banned, and request the information, we will tell you who issued your disciplinary action and why. If you feel that this banning was unjust, we as the staff will review the matter, and inform you with the results of the review.

6. No threads asking why another member was banned will ever be removed unless the content of that thread itself breaks the Code of Conduct. We have nothing to hide from you.

7. Useful threads (as long as they benefit the community) will not be locked or removed. If you post something and everyone gets a laugh out of it, it's going to stay. Threads like those keep morale up. If you have a question that will benefit the community, it will stay. Remember folks, this isn't CODHQ where we keep the repeats and can the useful threads. We will change that backward type of moderation here on the GB forums.

- Big thanks to Beefyman10 for the number seven entry!

We hope you enjoy your membership with the GB forums. Thanks so much for being a part of this.

Sincerely,

The GB Forum Staff

So when you say "less corrupt" do you mean that if I was to give you a certain $$ amount under the table to get someone removed from this site you wouldn't take it!?!  Or would you? ;D

Ha ha.
What if a couple of community members get together and make a joke type thread.  not violating any code of conduct of course, just a pure humor thread, would that get us banned.

Actually, most of the staff would probably encourage it and even partake! Anyone who knew me on CoD knows that I was all about the "entertainment" threads, no matter how pointless.

That being said, I was also very careful in how I worded things, to make sure I was on topic with wherever I was posting. That still holds true.

Also, the only thing we ask is that any humor is done in good taste. No racism, no kiddie porn...that kind of stuff. Just use good judgement and your joke thread will be well received and participated in.

I believe there already is a joke thread in the off-topic forum.
EDIT: Yes the thread is "Random Jokes" it is a sticked topic in the off-topic forum.

I know that was a little sarcasm referring to why most of us are now on this forum instead of the other one.

I do not like number 4, 1 warning. People makes mistakes, its part of being human. You should have a probation period of a month, and after that month. The warning is revoked. I know myself, and I might get pissed off one day, and lose it with people. So could you review number 4 plz.

Warnings are removed after 90 days.
