In the past couple of days, I have been noticing some major load spikes on the server. This has been causing some lag as well as slow page loads across the entire site. For now, I have taken chat offline as well as limited some other features.

I will continue to monitor the server until it looks good enough to restore the features. Unfortunately though, it looks as if this site was another victim of some massive DDoS attacks recently. Most namely, some have even effected sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, MySpace, Tumblr, and many other popular sites. There have also been some small sites targeted for no apparent reason other than to attempt to overload the servers.

chat is still there lol you just took away the link for it on the tool bar.  It is still accessiblt via direct link http://gamingbrotherhood.com/chat/

Please do not remove it because it keeps me from falling asleep at work.. :)

Sounds like it's a problem on IPS's end. Nothing I can do but submit a support ticket.

weird it shows you coming in the chat on our side. Maybe restart your browser?
