I guess you have a point, but are you talking about the ROTC guy or the respawn guy?

I think he's talking about the ROTC guy...

I couldn't stand the ROTC fucks. Salute them are you kidding me. Most of us had just been in the box for a year and those jack offs think we owe them some sort of respect. Are you fucking kidding me............. really. I'll tell you what if I was still in the Army and just saw that I would've snapped. ARGH. But I'm not I'm only a civy. Can't do shit but bitch on a forum and have you guys laugh at me. Sorry for that rant.

I am very with the choices I have made in my life. But, yeah, I am a little jealous of the fraternity that you guys have.

I wonder though, knowing what you guys know now about war and the training and shit, would you do it again? Let's not go political here.

I would. The experience isn't something that can be taught or conveyed through words or film but rather something that must be experienced first hand. I think most people who have been in the miltary and especially those of us who have seen war have a different perspective on the world and what is really important.

I love that answer.

The experience of law school, although totally different, was like that for me, it has changed the way that I view the world and problems. I have so much more control over myself now then I ever did. Its a great education even if you don't want to be a lawyer. I suppose the "education" of being in the military is similar--its great even if you don't plan on being a lifer.

I actually regret making the decision to get out...If I had to do it over again...I would do it with pleasure and I would actually stay in.
