New Playlists in Modern Warfare 2

Just uploaded two new playlists to Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer that allow you to play public matches with no Killstreaks in a variety of game modes. This update is currently available on Xbox Live, and will be coming to PC and Playstation 3 alongside the Resurgence Package DLC the week of July 6th. The exact details of each new playlist are below:

Barebones Pro:

Play Team Deathmatch and Free-for-All. All Killstreak rewards are disabled.

Players: 4-8

*Xbox LIVE Party Chat allowed

Objective Barebones Pro:

Play Domination, Demolition, HQ Pro, and Capture the Flag. All Killstreaks rewards are disabled.

Players: 8-12

*Xbox LIVE Party Chat allowed.

still not going to play...why would they make barebones only have disabled killstreaks? Shouldn't perks be disabled too? Seems like they are try to put a bandaid on a broken neck.

well i agree somewhat , i would like to see a proper barebones playlist like whats been discussed for black ops ...i do however think that doing this killstreaks removed only playlist on MW2 will eliminate all the campers (cause they got nothing to camp for) and should encourage abit more open play .

havent tried it but will give it a go tonight hopefully and report back

I dunno, let me know how it is. If guns other than the noob tube are used I might have to check this out.

They are going to get me back to give it a try. I mean my major complaint was camping or dc oma toobing for killstreaks, perhaps this will stop that. I really enjoy bfbc2, I actually think its a better game than MW2, but I owe it to myself to give this barebones a try.

I like the barebones objective games. People are so used to camping that they basically give up the objective because they won't be aggressive.

well i had afew tdm games on barebones last night ...def nicer that you dont have to worry about getting killed by air support as often as you usually do ..still lots of people tubing though ...but i think 402 said they are working on a OMA tweek in the next patch

lol. Good one Eli. This unlimited toob problem has been a problem for months now though. You would think the developers don't play there own game. Look how long it took DICE to re-balance its guns...On the other hand, at least IW puts out its DLC on time.

anybody else try this shit yet, I have been letting my daughter play with the MW2 disc, I'm not sure it will work with all the puke slobber and teeth marks, lol. She's not a dog, but when they are teathing its like having a new puppy in the house, she chews on everything but her teethers.
