A week or so ago I deleted some spamming members. First I banned them, then banned their ISP, then killed their families and then deleted them. This caused and unforeseen problem when attempting to view topics or threads in which the deleted members had posted. With the help of our support service, which we pay for, they fix the problem and all topics should be viewable. If you see any topics that are not viewable please let me know.

I would ask all admins to just ban offending members and not delete them.

Thanks. It sucks not being able to delete them. I guess we'll just have to pay them a visit when they do this. Pete get the bats...

pete if we get more members joining here i think its about time you stopped giving our american turtle so much grief ...comes off very racist and could make any new members alittle wary of wanting to stay . we all know its jokes but it might not seem that way to newer members if you know what i mean .

now say 100 hail marys and give every member $100 as your punishment

After I deleted them. The support guy said it has something to do with a "hook". Here is his response:

There's no mid in that query.. And.. That is not an IPB table.. Some kind of mod.

When you delete a member, it's still trying to pull information on them. That's why it's failiing. I disabled that hook, and you can access the topics now. You'd need to contact the author of that hook, let them know what's happening, and they would need to fix it, as we can't support third party applications.

Of course, might want to check for an updated version.. They probably know about this already and may have released an update.

@Pete, yea it's the Xbox LIVE app we have here, which needs to be removed anyways since the API for it has been taken offline.
