I just found out that Ortiz is 10 years younger than Mayweather and Ortiz has formidable punching power. After reading up on Ortiz, I found out that for his weight class, he is probably one of the hardest hitters up to date. Mayweather said that he isn't worried and will train as he always does but honestly, I am ready to see Mayweather get embarrassed publicly. I personally can't stand the guy. He is such an arrogant D bag and claims that he is "the best fighter of all time". Riding someone elses catch phrase much there Floyd? Long story shot, Ortiz sounds like he is equipped to beat Mayweather and I hope he does, badly.

I personally like humble fighters. Guys who aren't all mouth in and out of the ring. I probably wouldn't have liked Ali much if I was around to see him fight as Ali was a big mouth too. Though his legend surpassed time and he truly was amazing in his day so, I do like him. But, he is the exception to the rule, for me at least. I like Ivander "The Real Deal" Holyfield, Ricky Hatton, Oscar "The Golden Boy" De La Hoya, Wladamir Klitschko, and so on. Fighters that brought dignity and class to the sport. Basically people who are respectable both in and out of the ring. Pretty much anyone other than Mayweather or people like him.
I agree that Mayweather is a skilled boxer and he has preserved his reputation by being a D-bag and a great fighter at the same time. Out of the last recent 4 fights, he has one 4 as the Pacquioa fight didn't come to fruition because Mayweather and Pacquiao couldn't come to terms on when Pacquioa would be blood and urine tested. Pretty stupid but that is the truth. Anyway, Mayweather put down the last four fighters and kept his 41 - 0 record untarnished.
In May 2007 he won by split decision against the Golden Boy.

Then, in December 2007 he TKOed Ricky Hatton

Then in September 2009, he got the unanimous decision against Juan Manuel-Marquez

Finally, in May 2010, Mayweather got another unanimous decision victory against "Sugar" Shane Mosely leaving Mayweather undefeated at 41 and 0.

Had the Pacquioa Mayweather fight gone through I think that Mayweather's record would have a defeat on it. Hopefully Ortiz will be able to break Mayweather's jaw and shut him up for good. One can dream.
How do you think the fight will play out?
