I would like to know the same thing. I wonder if they charge per use or if they do a monthly thing like netflix?

Wuacala, It has commercials in it. Not worth it. You can see a lot of information on that link there.

I'll stick with netflix for the moment. I don't like commercials.

Some day they will have all of these subscription services figured out. Each service seems to be lacking in several areas and they don't quite cover each other's faults, otherwise you could just have multiple subs to cover whatever you want.

I guess eventually I'll go back to doing both streaming netflix AND getting the DVDs, but I have never been good about returning the damn things.

I tried Hulu yesterday and it's cool, but not cool enough to pay the $8.00. I'll keep it for the free week and most likely cancell before they charge me.

The internet has dramatically changed how we consume different forms of media and the situation isn't going to be settled for a while. It's too fragmented of a market for any real monopoly to provide the best range of services, really. I would say we are basically stuck with what we have for the foreseeable future.

Really what should happen is there should be one 'market' where you can take exactly what you want from it. I'm thinking something like Xboxlive or something similar that is just a platform that all providers can put content on to and then you pay maybe a flat fee to have access to all of it or pay less to only access the things you want.

Exactly. I'm sad cause I do not see AMC on the list of upcoming streaming services for XBox Live. I love the Walking Dead and Braking Bad, but can not see them because I refuse to pay $50.00 a month for cable only to watch one channel.
