This coming Veteran's Day weekend, there will be an airsoft competition located at Fort Drum, NY. For those of you unfamiliar with airsoft and milsim (military simulation), these events are centered around a military operation much like you would find in actual military training. However, instead of using real weapons and bullets, you will use either plastic BB's or paintballs.

You can find more information about this event at http://www.oppineplains.com. It would be awesome if we could get a group of guys from here to form a team for this event.

If you are interested in purchasing equipment for this event, or even for your own personal use, let me know. There are a few places that offer discounts on quality equipment that I can refer you to. On that note, please do NOT go out and buy a cheap $20 plastic airsoft gun. These will break within minutes of the competition and you will be laughed at. Not to mention, the performance factor is nil.

So, if you're willing to drop a few hundred bucks and can make it to NY for Veteran's Day, let me know! Airsoft competitions are a lot of fun.
