Now we want to do things legit, well this guy has got it down to science. This is not a "use specialist and switch up your guns every so often" type of thing. This guy puts all the numbers down on paper and explains when to switch set ups and why. I am sure a lot of you incorporate some of this info into your everyday playing, but I doubt everyone runs all ten of these suggestions. Well over the past few weeks I have been following this guidance and the results have been pretty good. I am now averaging around 8k - 10k per round (pretty good considering I only get around 15 kills per round). Check this write up out:

Two things I found interesting here.
1. Level 60 is the halfway point to prestiging,as far as XP is concerned
2. This explanation of the match bonus calculation:
If you would like to see exactly how match bonus is calculated read below (thanks to Pozzuh @ reddit)
Scaler = 1 if you win the match, 0.5 if you lose
spm = (3 + ( YOUR_RANK * 0.5 ) ) * 10
//maxmatchLength in seconds, YOUR_MATCHTIME in seconds:
matchBonus = Scaler * ( ( maxmatchLength/60 ) * spm ) * (YOUR_MATCHTIME / maxmatchLength)
So let’s say my rank is 65. I’m playing FFA which has a max game length of 10min and I won the match after 7 min and 46 seconds (=471 sec)
spm = (3 + ( 65 * 0.5 ) ) * 10 = 355
matchBonus = 1* ( ( 600/60 ) * 355) * (471 / 600) = 2788
And let’s say my rank is 80. I’m playing Kill confirmed which has a max game length of 10min and I lose the match after 10 min. (=600sec)
spm = (3 + ( 80 * 0.5 ) ) * 10 = 430
matchBonus = 0.5* ( ( 600/60 ) * 430) * (600 / 600) = 2150

Pete, this thread is for you. It is regarding the discussion last night where I mentioned that while double XP is good, properly setting up your classes to max out challenges are better. #8 on the above list is crucial.

Great article. Couple of things I am going to immediately implement: The two classes he suggests in paragraph 8. Completing the mastery for secondary weapons. Using the stinger more. I just unlocked the G36 so it will be a great time to use the AR ADS custom class that he mentioned.

best advice if you want to keep prestiging is max up your guns one at a time but leave say 5 kills till you get your 10k , then when you get to the higher ranks go back and collect all your 10k's for each gun .

Yeah, currently I am working on the perks. I should be done overkill and only have Extreme conditioning, Marksman (which I have never gotten, but use more then any other perk) and dead silence left. DS and EC go hand-in-hand.
I suck with the 2ndaries. I have akimbo'd the FMG's once and one of the pistols once. I am all stingers, all the time. But that douche DC keeps steeling my glory with the stinger.

I think the secondaries are the key to this whole thing. You can get 10,000 points (plus a few along the way) for completing the mastery of the secondaries which is anywhere from 65-75 kills. On the machine pistols this is a cake walk one you get them to akimbo. on the pistols I only did it with the M412 revolver which has very high damage and range. You just have to commit to it and you will get it. Make sure that when you are going for the secondary that your primary is a SMG because that makes you run the fastest. The weight of the secondary is irrelevant in this game.
One other thing to note, when firing akimbo in either pistols or machine pistols, kill count as hip fire kills toward steady aim pro. The rack up real fast so make sure you have steady aim pro on to reap the benefit. This also means, wait until you unlock steady aim before working on the secondaries with akimbo.
Okay, one other thing. We all know by now that specialist is the shit for racking up points. But I don't think he mentioned the following in the article. You complete challenges for just obtaining a perk in specialist. So if assassin is you first specialist perk, every time you get assassin for killing some one in the game you are working on a challenge. When you unlock the perk 150 times you get 10,000 points (you get 5000 for unlocking it 75 times). If you are using hardline pro this means that essentially for every 150 kills you can get 10,000 points for unlocking different perks using specialist strike package. So you use hardline pro and set the first perk to what ever you are working on, get a kill and that is one toward the specialist strik package challenge. I hope that I am explaining this right because you have to be nuts to be missing out on this. BTW you get another 10,000 for when you reach 250 and 350 kills so it actually gets easier. Once you unlock a perk 350 times just slap another perk in that spot and off you go. Plus while that perk is unlocked you are completing the challenges for that perk.
If you pay attention to your set ups and the challenges that you are working on you can really pop off some 10,000 point challenges. I was ringing them up last night like crazy. I went from level 54 to almost 66 in ten matches yesterday. That is an average of about 1 rank per match. At that high of a level for an average player like me, that is fast.
