After putting several hours (5) into CoD MP yesterday I've come to the conclusion that I'm unispired. The CoD franchise has hit the wall and it's sad. YES, they added a new game mode and YES they have SPEC OPS but the game is still the same. They didn't change engines, they still have spawn issues, noobs no scoping with snipers (which I thought they were supposed to fix), and Halo jumping (something else they were supposed to fix). They used the same mold over again instead of building from the ground up like BF3 did. Graphically it is solid and does edge out BF3...but that's it. They brought nothing new to the table and it's a MW2 remake. I do like what they did with the perks but they copied so much from the BF series it's not funny like leveling up your individual weapons. Where this game makes it's money IMO opinion is the campaign. It is solid even though the story seems a little bit like been there, done that. I guess if you like arcade shooters then this is the game for you. For those that like to work as a team and get a realistic battlefield experience then BF3 is for you. I find it ridiculous that you have to pay $49.99 a year for an elite service (even though I did this one time to see what all it will offer). This service "gives" you the DL's for the next year and access to your stats, ect. BF3 LE gives that to you for free....all the time.
I'm not going to knock the game too much because fans will be fans and I can't sway them. I personally expected more from the hype and was let down. Black Ops is a better game then this one so far. I probably won't get rid of this game right away like I did with MW2 but I hope that future days of playing will change my mind. I don't foresee that happening though.
