since the change in website design ...when i go to log in even though i say "remember me" and it keeps my login info there , when i click log in it tells me my username or password is incorrect ...so i have to retype my password in order to login again
is there no option to automatically log in each time , like the last site ?

I can confirm this is not isolated, it will not remember me either.
